Sales and service becomes focus of UK operation.
The UK operation of Husky Injection Molding Systems has relocated to a new service and sales office in Enderby, Leicester, following the closure of its technical centre in Coventry last year.
The new building has 262 sq metres of office space and is located in the Grove Park office village in Enderby, near the M1 and M69 motorways. Unlike Husky’s previous UK facility, the new building has no demonstration area for injection moulding machines.
Customer events focusing on machine demonstrations and technical discussions will be held at Husky’s major European technical centre in Luxembourg. Husky says the streamlining of its UK operation will allow customers to be better served.
Volker Neuber, Husky`s vice president of Western Europe, said: “The strengthening of our UK service and sales organisation together with the market aligned technical centre in Luxembourg will allow us to be able to meet the growing demands of the market and customers with respect to faster reaction time, flexibility and regional service presence. In this way, we are creating added value for all our customers, and are not bound by limited resources and opportunities.”
Paul Borszowski, Husky service manager for the UK and Nordic regions, said: “New products and incentives to keep our equipment running to the customers high expectations assure our customers we are with them for the long term. The closure of our technical centre in Coventry has enabled us to invest in more people in the field to further strengthen our service support.”
Borszowski told PRWmold.wiki that strengthening the sales and service side has already led to the appointment of two new service engineers for the UK and one new service engineer for the Nordic regions. Borszowski has been with Husky for 16 years, previously as an area manager.
Darren Round, Husky’s general manager in the UK, left the company last year.
