[Shanghai, China, July 13, 2020]Infineon Technologies, the world’s leading semiconductor technology company, announced that it has appointed Cao Yanfei as vice president of the Greater China region and head of the automotive electronics business unit.
At present, Cao Yanfei has taken up his new position in Shanghai and is fully responsible for the strategic planning and business promotion of Infineon Technologies Automotive Electronics Division in Greater China, and directly reports to Infineon Technologies Automotive Electronics Division Senior Vice President Anton Mueller and Infineon Technologies Dr. Su Hua, President of Greater China.
Cao Yanfei has accumulated more than 15 years of rich experience in the automotive industry. He has worked in many well-known multinational auto parts companies and held senior management positions with outstanding leadership skills. Before joining Infineon, he served as the general manager of the Asia-Pacific region of Continental’s New Energy Technology Division, responsible for managing the overall business in the Asia-Pacific region including the Greater China, Japan, South Korea and India markets, leading the team to achieve substantial sales performance increase. Before joining Continental, Cao Yanfei worked at Bosch for 9 years, holding various engineering management positions, and was promoted to the head of technology.

Cao Yanfei holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in power electronics from Hunan University, as well as an EMBA from the European School of Management and Technology.
