The G80 lifting chain is an indispensable lifting device for lifting heavy objects. It is made of high-quality alloy steel and is 

strictly controlled throughout the entire process. Let's take a look at the heat treatment of the G80 lifting chain and it's 



G80 lifting chain commonly used heat treatment methods: annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, carburizing,

 nitriding, carbonitriding, boronizing. The aging treatment has artificial aging treatment and natural aging treatment.


Annealing: The workpiece is heated to 30-50 degrees above ac3. After a certain period of heat preservation, it is slowly 

cooled to 500 degrees with the furnace to cool in space.


Normalizing: Heating a steel piece to above ac3 or acm, and taking out an operation of cooling in air from the furnace after

 heat preservation.


Quenching: The steel is heated to above ac3 or ac1, and after cooling, it is rapidly cooled in a coolant such as water or oil, 

and unstable structure has been obtained.


Tempering: heat treatment of reheating the quenched steel to a temperature below ac1, cooling to room temperature after



Natural aging treatment: The aging phenomenon that occurs when the workpiece is placed at room temperature or under 

long-term storage under natural conditions is called natural aging treatment.


Artificial aging treatment: an aging treatment process that heats the workpiece to a higher temperature and performs aging

 treatment in a shorter time, called artificial aging treatment.
